I had actually been waiting for this long ago... Had always wanted to see how higher learning institutions are like in Malaysia. So I grabbed the chance.
Wednesday 28th Novermber 2007
Somehow I couldn't sleep...chatted with Adlina till abt 1am plus plus...was still online till abt 2....packed my stuff like 5 times...cos couldn't decide on which bag to bring...haha...then finally...I felt sleepy...so ard 3.15...I gave up...used the FIRST bag I chose...and packed... beg besar lah sei...
Woke up at 5.15am...go myself ready and smsed those meeting me at woodlands not to forget to bring their passports and meet at 6...Waited for Faseha under my block and off we went...when I reached An-Nur mosque....only 2 of them were there...one inside the mosque doing her prayers and the other 3...not there yet...after all of them were there...we made our way to the checkpoint and waited for the rest...
Then...when all of us are there...off we went...Pahang: our first destination...
I was initially in the all girls' bus...well of course, except the bus driver and Mr Ayoub...but SOME PEOPLE...requested me to change bus...and so I switched to the other bus...which was somehow more confortable...as the aircon was working well...haha...ust Abu Bakar changed to the other bus... the bus I'm in...dah macam Academics bus...the other bus...Ukhrawi bus...cause all the teachers are in my bus...all the ustaz/ahs are in the other bus...
The journey was a long one... we didn't use the highway...so route was as if we were going to Cameron Highlands...get what I mean...and we didn't put our bags at the luggage area...so my bag was under my legs all the time...so it got a little uncomfortable to put my legs down...so I end up facing the back...after some time...we stopped for breakfast... there...Sa'amah played cat n mouse with a pregnant cat...the cat is the cat...and Sa'amah is the mouse..wahahaha
As the journey continue...vcd was played...but the sound system was bad...so I plugged in my earphones and pulled my shawl over my face...n went to sleep...guess what happenned when I woke up??? I pulled down my shawl...and the first thing I saw was the pocong on the TV!!! Selamat tak terpekik!
When we reached KIPSAS (Kolej Islam Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah), (my tour guide said Kolej Islam Pengajian Sultan Ahmad Shah) *siapalah yang nak kaji Sultan tuuuuu???*, we did our zohor and then had our lunch...nasi ayam...had a little sharing session and tour...and then off we go to Nilai...in the bus we started to give each other teka teki...Abbas was sleeping then...the bus was becoming happening...very happening...although there were like three groups...3A girls were playing dare or dare in the front...the mid side of the bus...some 3A girls and some boys were having the teka-teki and at the back...the rest of the boys were sleeping or doing their own (secret) stuff... When Abbas woke up, he joint in with the teka-teki group and started to give his own riddles which were funny...funnier still some of which had already been given when he was asleep!!! Haha!! Sorry dude...late comers are not entertained!!! haha!!! We stopped somewhere for dinner...which was Mcdonald's for me and the 3A girls...and get to the hotel...
I was in room 103 at first...but as 103 and 104 are linked...the boys requested for a change...so I changed to room 105...at first, I was with Syarifah, Afifah n Zahroh...then some change of plan...it became just me and Syarifah...got irritated by the occasional prank calls...mastered the skills of keeping quiet till the caller say something...haha...then Syarifah n I talked a bit...while listening to music...and then we both fall asleep...

(Happy Birthday Rifhan and Cassim!!)
Woke up around 4 plus...Thought I had overslept or something...then went back to sleep until 5.45am when my hp alarm went off...I got up, took my hp, shut it up, and went back to sleep...then the wake up call from the hotel...Syarifah answered, then realised it was a recorded one...and went back to sleep...then her hp alarm went off...so I asked her to do her subuh and after that, we both got ready packed, called Afifah n Zahroh...and went for breakfast...after everyone was down, we headed for the bus...by then, Syarifah and I shared a bag...while I used her backpack to carry passports...
KUIS (Kolej Universiti Islam Selangor) (my tour guide said Kolej Ugama Islam Selangor) *alahai...salah lagi!!! was our first stop...this was by far the best, and the most liked part of the tour...we were treated like part of them...we met ex-students and they shared their experiences... had breakfast again...which I think most of us just had tea with only some taking the mee hoon goreng...and had a tour of almost the whole campus... even got to see the 'court' area...and then had our lunch which is nasi ayam...and after some exchange of gifts, we moved on to UIAM...
UIAM (Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia) was big...we didn't exactly get a tour of the school, the info given was a little too much for the kids who are not university materials yet... (who goes to university after O' levels?) The whole time, I was more focused on meeting Khairu Barieyah...a fellow friend...ex-ustazah in MAI...sadly, she was on orientation and could not make it to meet us...after a tour to the library, solat and tea time of mee hoon goreng, I accompanied Zahroh to find a bookshop...while looking for one, with Ustazah Zainab and Farhana...I spotted a group of girls in green...my mind was straight away scanning the girls for Khairu...called her, smsed her...and finally, there she is in front of us...we scanned like hundred faces!!! took some pictures with her...talked, hugged...wateva...missed her so much...then I got a call from ustazah rusydah...oh no...the bus almost left without me!!! The four of us literally ran to the buses...I was the only one there in the 'Academics' bus...the other three were in the other bus...phew!!! Luckily Khatijah N told T.Syakir I was missing...haha
Then we stopped for shopping...for like an hour...at Times Square...some kids were unhappy...that place is pretty expensive...I decided to go somewhere cheaper...Sungai Wang or Bukit Bintang... but one haour wasn't enough...no where near enough...we were practically running as if we were having an amazing race...I was with Yati, Sam, Shasha and Qila...bought certain things, including Famous Amos cookies...managed to get back on time as I set alarm on my hp...haha...
Next was dinner at Taman Titiwangsa...seafood buffet...not my favourite, really...but still got my stomach filled...was super full by then...since we were supposed to go to the bus by 10, and we had like half an hour...we decided to go to the taman and take picture...too bad none of us had good nightmodes in our camera...should have borrow Zuhaily's camera... we were jumping, screaming and laughing our hearts out...until we realised it was 10...once again...I was running to the bus...all of us were running except Shasha...then we realised that the boys were not back yet...buat penat jerrrrr!!!!
We headed for our hotel then... once again...Afifah and Zahroh went to the other room...and once again...the boys requested to change rooms with us...from room 323 (I think) to room 306...by the time the request came, I had already taken out my stuff... Syarifah had started to iron her clothes...but we agreed...kesian lah kan...n packed our stuff while I membebel away...then I started laughing my heart out...as I had somehow tripped and fell...both Syarifah n I laughed away...when we were going towards 306, the boys told us that Nash was bathing...apa lah!!! So I decided to iron my clothes first...haha...after that...got in, unpacked and started counting the passports...I think I counted like a dozen times...hah...some students were telling me that Zuhrah was injured...but they way they said it...was as if they were kidding...by the time I found out that it was the truth, Zuhrah was already taken to the clinic...she needed 5 stitches..poor girl....
Friday 30th November
hmm...we decided to have a meeting...can't find a place other than the 24hr McD...I thought somehow, T.Del had told me about the meeting...apparently, he didn't know about the meeting...and Hanif even said that he didn't say it when I was so sure he said it in front of him...ish...malam Jumaat seh...but anyhow...I went there with the exco, Zuhaily and T.Syakir...the meeting ended about an hour later...or rather...when I myself was starting to switch off...haha...
After we came back, Syarifah and I continued talking abt things...like my JC life n so on...it was 3.30am when we finally decided to call it a day...
6.00am, my alarm went off...I snoozed it...6.05 again...6.10...then I woke Syarifah up...but somehow, we both dozed off...Suddenly, I heard a screeching laughter...was kinda scary but since it was morning...I thought it must be the girls...looked at the time...and gosh!!! It was already 6.53am!!! Syarifah!!! Dah solat belum??? While she was in the toilet, I called Afifah and U.Rusydah and told them that we just woke up...wun be late for the bus...but maybe no time to eat lah...quickly get ready and packed everything...when we came down...not many people were there...thought they had their breakfast...but...they were later than us!!! Some missed their fajar prayers!!! Haha!!! Last day...
Around 8.45am, we left for USIM (Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia). *by now, I dun care what the guide says* Muahaha!!!
K, this was a different thing...no one was as interested as before...we were tired...sleepy and the talk or wateva they call it was a lil boring...I even dozed off for a while...managed to cover it as I wasn't facing front..just closed my eyes for a while and then dozed off and woke within 50 secs or so? Then I was fresher...at 10 am...we were given mee curry...I didn't finish half of mine...I just had my breakfast barely two hours before that...then they continued with another forum...which was almost exactly the same as the one b4...hmm...but a lil bit more information...a lot of us dozed off...this time...I was focusing on something else...haha! Smsing...my bill's sure to rise this month...which reminds me...I haven't paid last month's!!! Hahaha!!!
Guess what, after the forum, we were asked to have lunch...and it was barely 12!!! Wanna guess what the lunch was??? No points for the correct answer though...n yes!!! It was chicken rice...once again...barely ate half...
We went off to Melaka after that...KTIAM (Kolej Teknologi Islam Antarabangsa Melaka) Sometimes, they even said KTIM...so, am not sure what the real name is... after a short introduction and a funny talk... we were given tea break...and it was mee hoon goreng with some delicacies...b4 that...the funny talk was funny...I dunno if the guy knew we were in a hurry...but he was speaking as if he was late for a show!!! N then, U.Zainab asked me to pass our school's gift to U.Abu Bakar...but I thought it'll be better if a guy does it...haha! And Sadiq was my victim...sorry boy...at first I thought he wud make a face or something...but then he took it and gave it to U.Abu Bakar in a semi-formal manner...good job there...
We made our way to the canteen...quite a distant...yet I dun see any high tech looks at all!! True to what someone said, this is no city campus...it gives you more serenity than anything else...chit chatted with a staff during the tea and found out that there's only one Singaporean there so far...graduated and from Alsagoff...and she, was my mom's tutee years ago...ahaha!!! On our way back, they met another Singaporean...so, that means, the girl wasn't the only one...some facts misunderstood I think...
We got the chance to shop once again...another hour at Masjid Tanah...I was with Hayati...got some stuff...cheap...got my mom what she wants...and got my lil sis a tin pencil box...(oh yah...she lurrrves it...yeah!) n then, off we went on our journey back to Singapore...we were told that we'll stop for dinner ard 9.30pm at Gelang Patah...so we spent the time playing Uno Cards, telling stories...taking pictures...n I think it was by far, the most fun bus ride in this trip...haha..story comes, ghost stories, and all...no more riddles though...n finally, reached our homeland after a short dinner...called my dad, but ended up being fetched by Seha's parents...
Overall, it was a great trip, made much much much more fun by the people in the bus, no thanks to the lame tour guide...haha!!! So I shall say...thanks to the 3A girls, Sa'amah, Sharizah, and the boys!!! U guys rock!!!
Sorry, I have no pictures for the trip...my digi cam sux..n my hp cam can't shut up...
Now, time to pack for council camp...haha...another 3 days away from home...away from computer...
SWEET LOVE 4:55 PM ;
