The recent happenings had let me to do some thinking. (No I am NOT reinstating my case.)
Bali was right about doing something about the criticisms. I mean, we just can't let people criticise things you did, especially when you have put in a lot of effort in it, and then just laugh at everything. In his case, these people were... ex-students.
I recall a happening a few months back. Students were complaining about people criticising and condemning MAI. Students of MAI were called dot dot dot (not nice to mention). Again, these people were... ex-students.
I recall another happening. When MAI reign champion for two events in a day, people said, "Alah, Arabiah action ah."
Once again, these people were...need I say it again? Ex-students.
Ok, we can't run from critics even in school. But I don't think those still in school criticise the whole population of the school. Or do they? Did the spirit of MAI die as they leave the school? Maybe, MAI didn't do enough to instill pride and glory in some students.
Maybe it's time to do something about it. I mean, not just maybe, we should do something about it. The spirit of MAI need to be instilled to a greater extent.
Since I'm on the topic, I might just add this. I see you girls can scream really well. Why not, develop a MAI cheer that uses this scream? Maybe the boys can go: ARABIAH!!!! Then the girls SCREAM!!!
So bring up the spirit, dudes and dudettes!!!
