I wanted to tag at some blogs. However, I realised that my tag will be too long. Anyway, here goes...A longer version...
Firstly, I've read some blogs about some 'uninvited guests' or 'shameless people' ruining the great feelings of the celebrations. Now, now...it's not so nice calling people shameless...if u were refering to the ex-students who came (who else need to be invited eh?) ...can I ask? How come you guys did not invite them? I know our place is small, but sometimes, it's only courtesy to invite ex-students...esp those who were so involved in the school's activities...wouldn't u like it if u are to be invited next year?
Ok, they criticised...Take it positively. Even Idols are criticised...Remember how Taylor Hicks was criticised? In the end, he was the Idol....(ok, takde kene mengene) But my point is, nothing in this world is perfect...so everything is opened to criticism (thanx Jid!)...Different people have different tastes...so it's their right to critic...anyway, if these people did not set a standard for the concert, would this year's be better than last year's? If there wasn't a concert last year, who knows people would have said this instead: Kalau last year ada concert, mesti better.
Oh, fyi...There ARE people who thought that last year's concert was better. (not me eh... I lurved the nasyid by lower sec onli...to me the dk was not up to standard ah...plus I was too new then) This year's concert focused mainly on the individual classes. There wasn't a single thing where all levels were united to perform. Ok, I know it was cancelled. Others don't, do they? Last year, there were quite a few items which shows MAI's unity...eg. Dikir Barat, Nasyid (even though it was upper sec vs lower sec)
So next year's batch, how about having a concert with a bang like this year's but with great unity like last year's? heh!
Ok...panjang lebar nah...
Secondly, I know you guys are excited and nervous about what's installed for you in the near future. Just some advice...aim high, expect low...plan your work n then work ur plan...I've never thought I'd be a teacher when I was in secondary school...I looked at my teachers n the pile of work they hafta bring home...it scared me...but here I am...teaching at MAI...bringing home work...argh!!! But I love my job...n I luv u guys
Thirdly, to the sec fives: all the best for the upcoming prelims and O'levels...to my sec fours: all the best for the STE...
SWEET LOVE 3:40 PM ;
