My daily routine has changed...most of the time, I'll sleep at 1am and wake up at 6am...I apologise if I have been unreasonable at times...

Something is wrong with the title part....haizzzz...

K...let's see what happened the past week...

Monday...

hmm...went to the bank...and I can't believe what I saw...The line was bloddy long!!!! Ok...forget the fact that I was in the wrong queue...I can't be bothered to queue again... n I have to meet Syarifah and Shidah at 12 at Bedok...Ok..I changed the plan...12.30 at East Coast...

Reached East Coast at abt 12.40...So we went bowling...yeah...after abt half a year..I finally get to bowl again...there were loads of pple...didn't matter that the normal number 8 and 9 balls that I used were not available...I used a thirteen!!! Heavy...but good enuff...after the first round...I got tired...but we wanted more...haha...so after Zuhur prayers, we went for another round...then we went for lunch...or rather...almost dinner...haha

Overall, the outing was fun. Just wished that Fasehah and Mahirah were there...or Hakim and frenz...or u.zainab and frens...hee!

Tuesday

Normal school day...3B had their debate...on the spot debate...Fathini was good...the rest was entertaining...and Shida (3B) was a natural...

Wednesday

Another normal school day...I noticed something good since last week...something that made me happy to be a teacher...a class which had lost their class spirit last semester had gained it back...I loved their class last year...and I'm loving them more this year...of course I love my other classes too lah...jangan jealous pulak...

Sec 3A had their debate...When I reached the class, the class was almost set up for a debate environment...the most entertaining round was the crossfire and the audience round...best ah!

Thursday

Ok...I finally got to the bank...and was late for assembly...a feedback form session by the exco... yah...this feedback form... aiya..tak payah cakap banyak lah kan...siapa yang tak tahu...biar tak tahu...siapa yang tahu...buat tak tahu pun baik...

Nothing much happened after that...

Friday

Hmm...school was as per normal...Geography periods were the best...both 3A and 3B were actively participating in class...giving all sorts of ideas...I love this kind of environment...just dun get too noisy...

After school, I decided to take a long way home...reason being...I need a little break...wanted to go to Pasir Ris...and then take 39 home...then I felt the need to go to the toilet...so I alighted at Tampines instead...hahaha!!!

Then I added my ring collection...woo hoo!!! I bought more of those plastic rings I love to wear...just that there wasn't a good range to select from...but I was satisfied enuff...

Another post...

Hmm...let's talk about Earth Day...what should we do on Earth day...

1) Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...
2) Wear green to show we care...as if...I didn't c many wearing green...but I think they all care...
3) Watch the Live Earth Concert...

wait wait...concert? How can this save the Earth? Won't it destroy Earth more??? All the lights, sound system, stages they need to build...all the drinking and partying it will encourage???

So pple...it's Earth day...go destroy the Earth...

Hmm...looks like the title can't be added...anyway, here's what I did today...

People watching...this is how it goes...I hopped on any bus that came first...it was 856...great! I shall go to the old Woodlands interchange...u know...the one near the checkpoints??? I walked around alone...wanted to do some shopping...but I was cashless, n too lazy to join the super long queue to withdraw money...so I walked to KFC and got myself cheese fries and grabbed the best spot to do what I never thought I'd do again...pple watching...but b4 that...there were at least 5 POSB atm around the kfc...no queues, unlike the one at the main POSB near the main road...though I'd withdraw some money...but guess what??? there isn't even $20 in the atms... NO WONDER no queue!!! 5 ATMs, no money??? Pple of Woodlands must have withdrawn a lot!!!

So here goes...I sat at this armchair...and stared at my cheese fries...I didn't notice them at first...there were loads of cheese... wow!!! I looked ard...I saw...

1) A table full of laughing pple...there's the mom, two girls, and two teenage boys... a happy family...

2) A couple having Zinger... the girl was wearing pink, the guy wearing black...the girl was really pretty...the guy...hmmm...so-so ah... across the table, two quite good looking guys were looking at the girl...guys guys...can't u see she's obviously taken???

3) Another family came in... a guy, a lady and a lil girl...I had earlier thought they were parents to the lil girl...but I was wrong...the lady was her grandma...the guy...her dad...haha!!! the lady looked sooo young...

4) Many other couples...didn't really get my attention

5) A guy, eating alone...and looking at me...Hey!!! Old schoolmate!!! He came over, said hi...and we talked a while...

That's abt it...anyway...I realised...none of them wore green!!!

After being satisfied with my pple watching...I walked to the bus stop...still looking at pple...haha...still not many greenies... I waited for 856...it sure took very very long... then suddenly, I heard a loud loud horn!!! I turned, just in time to see a guy being thrown off the road!!! He was just hit by a lorry!!! I was like...astaghfirullah, innalillah!!! Poor guy...it was red light what??? The lorry was obviously speeding to beat the light...

Anyway, as usual, when things like this happen, many crowded ard to look at what happened... only one or two helped... I went over...and was like..."err...u guys should give him space..." I was actually scared that pple will scold me for being extra or something ah...but lucky for me...they all spread out...I saw the guy...some abrasion on his face...I saw that he was being attended to...there was a first aid kit from the lorry...so I guess things would be fine...the guy was in shock...some by-standers helped to move him...the ambulance came...ok...so I left...

Anyway, b4 I went over to the guy...some makciks were shouting at the bus stop...they were shocked...but this is how it went..."Ya Allah...kenapalah tak tengok...lori tu lori malaysia lah...kat malaysia kan dorang drive tak ikut traffic light...eh orang kita eh??? Ya Allah, orang kiter lah...dah mati ke budak tu???...Hah!!! Orang kiter????"

K, those came from the makciks ah...not A makcik...but nevertheless...so what if it was not 'orang kita' rite? He's still a human being if it wasn't 'orang kita' rite? N what's this about 'dah mati ke?' Can't pple pray for the best? Even if it's for other pple??? Ish...ish..ish...

When I woke up in the morning, I realised that I have not ironed my clothes for the day. Trophies and fireworks!!! I have not even decided what to wear!!!

So, while answering smses, I scanned through my wardrobe. Oh maannn! Did my wardrobe grow bigger or what? I just couldn't decide what to wear. As time is running out, I took the baju kurung which was easiest to iron. In no time, I was ready to rock and roll...No, no...I was going to the musabaqah tahfiz.... hee!!!

Met Diyana at Toa Payoh and took the cab to MWTI. Fast forward....zeettttt zettttt zetttt....

The contestants from category A was superb. They were all good. Our poor little Farid...try again next time...you were great too! I told Usth Zainab, "Tapi dorang tak baca sesedap Hakim kan?"

She said, "Wardah belum tengok kumpulan B lagi. Dorang lagi terror2!"

Ok, so I got nervous. This was literally the first competition for MAI that I went to support. The YEC did not seem like a competition as our competitors were all from only 2 schools...5 competitors, 2 schools...excluding us lah...so I kept saying my prayers. "Oh Allah, pls help him through this."

And I keep telling usth Zainab, " Harap2 dier tak gabra ah."

N sorry Hakim, I did not send much words of encouragement...was afraid that would make you more nervous!

Down at Aljunied, Arifah and Hanif were updating me on the quiz. Sadly, they said that the girls were not doing well enough. Usth Zainab and I kept our prayers. Hopefully, they won't lose their confidence.

Category B starts. Other than being super cold and hungry, we were nervous. This group wasn't that good. A number of them kept forgetting their verses. Hakim had a good chance of becoming top three if he dun stumble over his verses. The first four competitors were quite disappointing to me. The one from MWTI (number 5) gave a good fight and set a high standard for Hakim and Nadiah (number 6). Then up went Nadiah. She was good. Very good. By this time, most of our supporters had changed seats. They moved to the front, behind our boys. Usth Zainab and I remained where we were. If I moved, I would have left my stomach behind. Haha!!!

It was Hakim's turn. Great...I got my mobile ready to record his readings...He started of with a mistake...usth Zainab gripped my hands...Luckily Hakim picked up from there...After that, he made almost no mistakes except for some mispronunciation, according to usth Zainab lah...I obviously did not notice...The hall was quiet...Everyone was listening...Even a certain someone, whom Aini hates, the younger one...had his eyes fixed on Hakim...When he was done, Marha! Marha! To me, there was no doubt he'll win. But still, Nadiah was good.

The time came for announcement of the winners. The winner for the first group was a Md Nur Hakim from MWTI. I whispered to Nadhirah...forget the Nur, that would be the winner for the next category. Hopefully. So, as the names of the 2nd runner up was announced...we were getting more and more excited...the 1st runner up went to Nadiah...and my girls gave a little squeal of excitement! No need for the announcement of the winner...we all knew... Hakim, you're the BEST! CONGRATZ HAKIM!!!

So, my fingers did their job. Smsed the good news to Arifah and the other teachers. Yee haa!!!

Then, had our lunch b4 I had to go off to SIM to defer my studies. It was the last day...if not I'd hafta pay the price inclusive of 7% gst. What rubbish!! I wanted to go to Aljunied for the remaining of the quiz...no use, they were ending soon...but still...

I got a cab to go down to SIM. While in the cab, I received an sms from Arifah. It said, "WE WON FIRST!"

I couldn't suppress my own squeal this time. "Arrrhhh!!! YESSA!!!"

The driver got a shock. He asked what happened. Told him. He congratulated us. So girls and Hakim, this is from the 'apek teksi'... "CONGRATZ!!"

Immediately I called usth Zainab. This was how the conversation went.

"Kakkkk!!! Kiter menang!!! First! Woo Hooooo! Baik ah!"

"Wardah biar betol...jangan bedek ah ngan akak nie."

"Betul, kak rusydah ada kat sana? Tanya ah...mesti dorang dah update dier."

Then I received an sms. "Kak tunggu, ada sms."

I read my sms. "Ah tu, kak rusydah message. Dorang champion ah!!! Yeahhhh!"

"Eh? Nak turun sana ah. Ok ok, akak call balik nanti. "

Then my fingers did their job again. I smsed practically every teacher. I was superrr happy. N my day hasn't ended yet!!! CONGRATZ GALSSSS!!!

I went to SIM. Had to wait for like 3 whole hours b4 I made my payment. Even made frens with a certain Nita. A beautiful lady I can say. We passed the time by talking about almost everything. haha!

Rushed home, and got ready to go to the closing ceremony of the National Stadium. Rushed down. The thing started at 5pm...but we only went in at abt 8....for the Singapore vs Australia match, which already started...South Entrance was way on the other side...nvm, bought ice cream and walked there...by the time we reached the entrance, the ice cream was finished. haha!

The match wasn't as exciting as other matches...must be becoz it's a friendly....but still, we could feel the spirit of competition...second half was better...a certain pakcik kept making us do the Kallang Wave...at first, it was great...then we all got tired...Hey! We want to watch the match you know??? Singapore lost 0-3...but at least it was not without a fight...Then came the closing ceremony...spots were given to various athletes for their contributions to the country...the stadium roared for Lionel Lewis, Indra Sahdan and V.Sundramoothy....How come Fandi didn't get a mention? After that, Presiden SR Nathan 'closed' the stadium...once again...there was a roar...this time, it was for this...

After that, we went for a little stroll and then took the bus to Tampines, thinking of taking 969 home...however, due to jams, we reached tampines at 11.46pm...last bus, 11.45pm...so...got to take the cab...since we already were late...we took a little stroll at tampines...it was my first time being there so late at night...haha...scary! like real... reached home at 12.45am...n switched on the comp...woo hoo!!!
