Haha!!! Boo!!! I'm not exactly free yet....still have tonnes of work to mark n many papers to set...shish!!!
However, it doesn't hurt to blog...at least not when I think I haf loads to say!!! Think this entry may be a super long one...I shall label the different stories.
Scary Incident
Ever since my aunt n nadia were told abt the haunted area near their house, my friend and I never walked out of the house at night anymore...we call for cab instead. That night however, my friend had not enuff cash with her...so she decided to walk...N so, walk was what we did...
B4 we came out, stupid me mentioned abt the none-stop barking of the dogs when we were teaching the girls. My friend shut me up. Shish!!! Did I have to mention THAT???? It was a Thursday nite!!! So, hand in hand we walked out of the place...we talked abt almost anything that came to our mind. The night was quite eerie...with the full moon and all...I could almost imagine an image of a werewolf perched somewhere... scary... but the fear wasn't exactly there there, if you get what I mean...we were ok until we reached the bus stop and boarded our respective buses... in my bus, there were only 5 of us, 3 of them sleeping, the driver n I...we were cruising down the road...suddenly the bus stopped...gave me a shock!!! I looked out...and nearly gave a shriek...there, staring back at me, was a face...oh maaannnn...it was soooo scary...
actually, it was just the anti-smoking advert....not scary at all...onli that, that night was sooo quiet and dark...and I had shaky legs till I reach home...shish!!!
Strange guy...
Yesterday, after tuition, my friend n I took a cab out from my aunt's place...my friend drop me off at the bus stop as she carries on her journey home...at the bus stop, there was this guy...and this is how the conversation goes...
guy: Hi! Do you know where the nearest hospital is?
me: Err...Adam Road Hospital? But it's for...
guy: I dun want that one...anywhere else?
me: Mt Alvernia then...you can take bus 855 or 165 to go there.
guy: You see, I fell over there (started showing his bloody arms and swollen feet) and, I haf no money. (showed his empty wallet)
me: (in my head) alah...nak duit pulak...tapi kesian... (His injuries look painful)(out loud) Well, I can spare u five bucks. (only haf 7 in my purse)
guy: Oh thank you so much.
me: No problem. Be careful next time.
guy: So u work ard here?
me: (in my head) nak jawab ke tidak eh? Malas jugak nak layan.(out loud) Yeah
guy: As?
me: Tutor.
guy: How much do you earn? What do you teach?
me: a few hundred. Maths n Science
guy: Oh, I used to haf tuition for Maths. But I still failed. I took A Maths n C Maths.
me: Oh
guy: So, I think you're married. You look like you are 29-30.
me: (in my head) What in heavens is this guy trying to do? Apa agaknya dia nak eh? (out loud) Yes. But I'm 26..(ok ok..I lied)
guy: Oh...so u out at night like this your husband never get angry?
me: Eh, my bus here already. You take care eh... (in my head) janganlah kau naik 852 jugak...malas aku nak layan...
Luckily he didn't take the bus with me...hennnngggg!!!
Qiyam Banat and the days after
Yes! Finally, I had my first qiyam...It wasn't really the one that I expected it to be...The last time I wanted to go for qiyam, there were many activities...this one, due to our tired girls and teachers, we can't have much...afternoon session mah....But it was definitely an experience...I know how you girls actually didn't sleep...I drifted in and out of my sleep...heard the noise...then it's wakey wakey!!! Did the prayers and had all the activities...then off they went home...but us teachers, we had a fire safety workshop...man...was I sleeping??? I didn't remember a thing that person said...maybe a bit here and there...cannot throw water at someone burning...wat else eh?
Then I tried to catch some sleep after typing the namelist for the RKM Flag Day...managed to get abt 45minutes..then off to class...I was drifting off during Ustaz Ali's class...in my hadith class...I gave up paying attention...I was scribbling away trying to keep myself awake...I gave up during the maghrib break...n then...I skipped the rest of my class...had some coffee...in fact, two cans...at night couldn't sleep...shish!!! Sunday had tuition...was late ah...cannot wake up...then stayed there until abt 6.30, watching shows and swimming... after that, I went home, super tired...went to sleep straight away...
The next day, I cancelled my Maths Foundation...was too tired and had a heavy head...luckily I was ok by 11...so could go to school.
Haflah '06
Well, there wasn't much to say...I had to take the trophies on that day...the makers said they could get them ready asap...but then, when I reached there it wasn't ready...they needed 15 minutes...then when paying the bills, it didn;t tally with mine...Sharks n Jellyfish!!! They missed out some throphies...so had to wait while they rush abt 5 more trophies...meanwhile, outside the shop, there was a drama...a car exploded under the overhead bridge...there was a huge fire...the biggest that I've ever seen...in real life that is...So proud of the SCDF...they managed to clear the traffic n ease the fire in abt 10 minutes...when everything was ready, my friend and I drove back to school...got the boys ready to halp us bring the things up...on the way, I chit chatted with my fren...suddenly I saw a lizard on the window...so shocked...I screamed at first...then started laughing...looked at the lizard...hmm...I will never get a chnce to look at a lizard that close without the fear of it shooting it's tail at me...haha! a lizard seems to have 5 'fingers' too...the back legs are larger than the front...hmm...now I know...hahaha
Exams!!!
Well, for all my students, be it tuition or those in MAI...it's exams round the corner...this will be stress period for me...exams to set...papers to mark...datelines to meet...projects to be done...plus my own exams are round the corner too...So, b4 anything happens, I would like to apologise to anyone affected by my mood swings if it so happens...
Ok...I'm tired...till the next entry!!!
