Last Sunday, Rose and Diamond went to a bakery to get some doughnuts. As they were choosing the doughnuts, a really tall man came in.
Man: Can I haf a jam bun please? (in some Australian slang)
Rose n Diamond: (turned around and started giggling)
Bakery Apek: (faking an accent) Our jam sandwiches are over there, the buns are over there. "Jamban" is upstairs.
Rose n Diamond couldn't resist laughing. The man was blur of course!!! On their way home, Rose n Diamond started blabbering nonsense n lame jokes. At the same time, Rose was reminded of someone she knows, MAJ.
for those who already know the story, sorry...just had to blog it... Peace!

WWWell...I've already recieved.......many sms reminding me to DO MY ASSIGNMENT!!!! Argh!!! I've been trying to do it...but but but...just can't seem to finish it...hmm...
At first glance...it didn't seem like a lot of work...but as I was working through it..I realised that the methods are tiringly long!!! It's like answering essays...using numbers and symbols, that is... sigh!!!
Anyway...that aside...today, I took a cab to work again!!! Surprisingly, the traffic was really clear...N I mean it...really clear...there was no slow traffic at all...no need to mention jams... great huh??? Wish everyday the traffic can be like that
Had some talk with my parents...my dad wanted me to get my driver's licence as soon as I can...in fact he was pestering me to do so...he wanna get a car...but he wanted someone else in the family to be able to drive too...n I'm on top of his list... eldest mah??? or maybe, I'm more careful than my sis in some ways??? n he mentioned the 'M' word again...I think I can go crazy should he mention that again...but then again...'M' has been the topic whenever our family have some talk... sigh...stress lah stress...
I wanna put on braces...ever since I started working...but it seems like I hafta shelve the intention yet again...driving lessons may cost a bomb... sigh again...
Anyway...just felt like listening to this song...used to be my favourite during my sec sch years...

Well...just to make things clear...
My very first teaching experience was taking over my mum's religious classes when she went to do her pilgrimage somewhere when I was like 17...oh yes... I was a lil ustazah b4...but onli taught simple things like the five pillars of Islam n the sis pillars of Iman...how to perform the ablution and the solah and simple arabic words that are already in the books...then I never would haf thought that teaching would later be my career...
However, what made me realise that I want to teach was my first experience teaching in a proper school...Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School...my relief teaching there was fantabulous!!! The teachers, pupils and the environment was great...not forgetting the ever-so-helpful principal who always was ready to help me develop my teaching skills...I still haven't thank the lady who introduced me to this school when it was in need of relief teachers...
Then I got into university...where I flunked my days...giving in to emotions and problems that arised then...after that I worked in child care where I lasted for about half a year...till my contract ended lah...then I worked for a month each in abt 4 offices...I can't stand office environment where you just sit there and do almost nothing...
Then my aunt came back to Singapore...not wanting her children to go to International Schools, she asked me to home school her girls...somewhere in July last year, I got a call from MAI...n till now...Yes...I'm still there...torturing the students with my everlasting and frequent rantings...muahahaha!!!

Decisions made, decisions shamed
Especially when you have failed
Nothing counts, nothing matters
Once done, everyone remembers
No one bothers, they do not care
This is life, it's so unfair
A mistake done, it's not good
Life can never be understood.

Recently, I think I have not really been myself...I loose concentration so fast I can't really study...what's worst was what happenned yesterday...
Kak Zai's bus came first (even if mine came, I would let her go first) but somehow, after she left yesterday, n the rest of the pple at the bus stop left, I kinda had the sudden feeling of fear...I had never felt that kinda fear b4...where I suddenly started reciting some Quranic verses..n I dun even know y I was so scared
I really didn't know why I felt sooo afraid...wanted to call someone...but dunno who to call...at first it was a gust of wind...suddenly, someone tapped my shoulder...I FROZE...literally...that someone tapped again...I dare not turn...then that someone shook me n called my name!!! I had actually been so afraid I didn't hear anyone coming...It was an ex-colleague of mine...she said she called my name a few times...(I didn't hear her!!!)
Well, so we went home together since we were heading the same direction...we compared our current job with the last one...I really thank God for where I am now...not saying that AI was bad...but it was great...but add an M in front, it's marvellous...muahaha...as I've said in one of my earliest post, I luv my job...but I never imagined that I will still luv it 7 mth later...(I've been in MAI for 7 mth???)
So, after we split up, as I was walking to my block, I thought about the scare I had at the bus stop...the wind, the fren...maybe I had too much on my mind...I'm contemplating on asking for a leave...need time to do my assignments, memorize a lot of stuff and mark!!! Plus, I truly am disappointed on that day...shan't rave on more...u pple may get bored...

Well...since I haven't updated for the week...this is my update....
Monday
Let's see if anything happened on Monday...went to work as usual...discussed abt soccer every now n then... news abt my fren's son's departure spread quickly...sori Yanti, didn't get to see u...
Tuesday
Took the cab to work again...tired after Monday's tuition...got SIM after work some more...but didn't get there though...was on 67 until abt 8.30pm!!! Class started at 7.30pm...at 7.20pm, I was ard Tekka area there...n there was a huge jam!!! From Sim Lim to KK was onli a short distance...but due to the jam, it took the bus nearly half an hour to reach KK area...normally, it won't even be 5 minutes... reached Coronation Plaza at abt 8pm (kenalah hormat waktu)...by then, if I alight n change bus, I will reach SIM at 9.15pm...so I decided to get myself comfortable n go to SLEEP...alighted at Choa Chu Kang and took the train home...an oh...I shop ard at Lot 1 first..heh! N I managed to talk to Amy after soo long...both too bz...found out Jan had been so sick the past week...
Wednesday
No meeting then...so went to work as per normal...nothing interesting happened in school...except for an unfortunate accident at the staircase...at night, went to teach Aisha n Nadia again...but I onli taught Nadia...cos she had so many homework...by the time we end, Aisha was oredy tired anyway...
Thursday
No assembly...n Thursday is my most relaxed day...onli four periods...but since all my other days are sooo packed, this is the time I mark my books...n boy! was time fast or wat??? It was the end of the day b4 I knew it...nothing on at nite, so I went back early...did a lil shopping at Northpoint...bought nothing though...the things that I want can't be found...
Friday
Netball selection...reached there a lil late...sori ya girls!!! Stuck in jam...next time must take train ah...spent like 22 bucks on taxi just that trip!!! Stupid ERP and Peak hour surcharge!!! Well...reach the netball centre, asked the girls to warm up...then realised that since t.zubaidah wasn't there yet, we had no balls!!! Tried to ask the girls to PRETEND there was a ball...but they can't...luckily t.zubaidah arrived then...got the balls n the girls started practising...after some throwing n catching n running...they played some games...no comment on the games...but saw some potentials in the girls...after some discussion, t.zubaidah n I decided who will be in the team n who will not...find out on MONDAY!!!
Went to KFC after the session...ate with some of the girls while...erm...shall I say gossiping??? actually, by then, I was so thirsty I drank a lot...leaving less space for food in my stomach... I think same goes to the girls...heh...we didn't finish our food so we packed it n brought to sch...
In school...I was somehow energised...maybe too much mountain dew..maybe it was the HEALTHY morning sun...my teachings were more or less animated...kinda made a fool of myself or something... muahaha...surely, Friday's Geography lesson was an interesting one...rite??? Hopefully, that wasn't the onli one...
Saturday
Woke up late today...nothing to do in the morning...so I lazed about in bed...then helped my mum a lil in the kitchen, had lunch n went to Wisma Indah for my class...
Learnt Fiqh Perbandingan (Comparative Fiqh) today with the ever-so-interesting Ustaz H... He never fails to bring in contemporary issues into class where we can always relate with...It makes understanding of the topic much much easier...Islam is an evergreen religion... So dun need to hold on to the explainations of the past and make it difficult to relate to real life... He was really interesting and was also kinda animated which reminded me of my lessons on Friday...muahaha
After that was Quran...it wasa hafalan session...we recited the ayahs that Ustaz A chose a few time so that it will stay in our brains...but sadly for me, I remembered onli the first and last part of the first ayah, three quarters of the second, and a part of the third...failure...but it was a good session...they should haf done this ever since first sem...
After that, I took 854 and headed home...
Sunday
Well, so far, I've onli been typing on Sunday...haha...the day just started lah...so I just type abt what I'm gonna do...morning, I'll give tution then probably mark some school work... then going off to my aunt's to celebrate her bdae... Happy Birthday, MakMunah!!!
Ok...that's it for the week...till next time!!!

So we won the Asean Cup...Bravo!!!
The Lions did well in the finals of the Asean Cup...the sportmanship and spirit shown was really commendable...The rewards, they retained the cup and Alam Shah even won awards...
The game started off with, of course, the national anthems of the two countries... N the shaking hands of the two teams...smiles on the Lions, but the Thais looked a little unfriendly, maybe stressed, or perhaps still unhappy over the late penalty in the first leg.
After the whistle, Singapore 'scored' first sending my cuzzins shouting for joy...but false alarm...we were off side...we sensed that the Thais could probably be the ones to score first...which they did...with all the attacks they made...luckily we haf good defenders n keeper... else, it'll be more than one
Half time score was 1-0
The second half was more intensed...dunno y I decided to have my dinner nearing the start of the second half...many a time I spoke with my mouth full...disgusting!!! Khairul Amri subsituted Itimi Dickson...n it was he who was our hero today...he scored a wonderful goal in the last minutes...so wonderful that he himself looked a little shocked at first...CANTIK!!!
The whole of Yishun can be heard...wow...even my two-year-old nephew who came running to me covering his ears (he hates noises) shouted...of course he dun understand...heh..I told him, "shout goal cepat...pekik sama2..kita menang nie.."
It was after this that the Thais got rough...their counter attacks were worrying... Singapore just had to defend their way to being champions...the Thais, they would haf to score 2 more to win...1 to draw n bring the game to extra time or shoot out...they were panicking...we could see that...the Lions were pushed and spat at...but they kept their cool...*salutes
4 minutes added to the game...I was oredy at the edge of the seat...pls Thailand..dun score...towards the last minute...Jiayi was dribbling the ball near the penalty box when the game ended...to us, it seemed that the game suddenly halted...thanx to my 2 year old nephew, the tv set was almost inaudible...so wat we saw was everyone suddenly stopped running...then I saw the time...n I jumped up..."Kiter dah menang!! Kiter menang!!"
The whole of Yishun shook again...it was great...the last time I heard something like this was back in the early 90's during the times of the Malaysian cup...
We could see the Thais were dissappointed...who wouldn't be rite? But nevertheless...Singapore can celebrate...yee haa!!!! Congratz Lions!!!
